Deadlock Update from October 10, 2026: Solomon has been added to the game
The developers have added a new character to Deadlock—Solomon, who was announced in the “Sleepless City” patch. The chess player uses a chessboard as a weapon and creates chess pieces on the battlefield. Find all the information about the new character in Russian in our article.
Solomon: The Hero’s Story
In a world that moves too fast, Solomon prefers to pause and listen. Always ready to lend a friendly ear and offer sound advice, Solomon has often found himself sitting across the chessboard from tourists, criminals, and industrial magnates. But no matter who his opponent is, Solomon always remains unflappable… because for him, chess is much more than just a game. It’s an equalizer. A way to find common ground with people from all walks of life, meeting them on equal terms.

- Health — 820; health regeneration — 2 units/sec.
- Movement Speed — 6.7 m/s; Sprint Speed Bonus — 3.3 m/s.
- Stamina — 2 bars.
- Light Attack Damage — 50 (+1.58 per blessing); Heavy Attack Damage — 116 (+3.67 per blessing).
- Spirit — 0 (+1.1 per blessing).
The hero’s weapon is the “Alekhin Cannon.” It takes the form of a chessboard and allows for long-range shooting. It deals 30 damage per bullet with a rate of fire of 2 shots per second. The magazine holds 8 rounds, and reloading takes 3 seconds. The shells explode within a radius of about one meter, dealing full damage, including to the head. An enemy can only take damage from the explosion once per shot.
Solomon’s Abilities
Setup Bishop
Creates an elephant that remains in place indefinitely. Movement (approach / alternate fire): moves the elephant, slowing enemies it passes through and dealing spiritual damage to them. The slow effect gradually wears off. After a short delay, diagonal tiles activate, dealing additional spiritual damage to enemies that step on them.
Base stats: range—20 meters, radius—3.5 meters, cooldown—12 seconds.
Upgrades:
- 1st: +5 meters to movement range and +15% to the slow effect.
- 2nd: An additional figure and the ability to use it after 8 seconds.
- 3rd: Increases the radius of the cells; they reduce resistance to spiritualism by 2.5%—the effect stacks up to 10 times.
Kingside Knight
Transforms an ally into a knight, temporarily increasing their stamina and granting a shield. When cast on himself, Solomon becomes a king instead: he receives double the shield but no additional stamina. Movement (approach / alternate attack): Moves a piece. The piece is invulnerable while moving and until it lands.
Base stats: range—28 meters, duration of positive effect—7 seconds, cooldown—25 seconds.
Upgrades:
- 1st: Cooldown reduced by 8 seconds.
- 2nd: Increases the barrier by 80 units; grants an additional stamina point.
- 3rd: Can select two allies within range; when cast on self, removes negative effects after movement.
Rook Battery
Launches two rooks that move forward, dealing spiritual damage and immobilizing enemies. Upon colliding with a wall, the rooks bounce back and move in the opposite direction. Reactivation: sends the rooks in perpendicular directions.
Base stats: damage — 50, cooldown — 33 seconds.
Upgrades:
- 1st: Upon hitting a target, reduces the enemy’s fire rate by 25% for 5 seconds.
- 2nd: Upon hitting a target, deals 5% of the target’s current health as damage.
- 3rd: Additional wall bounce, cooldown reduced by 12 seconds, and stun duration increased by 0.5 seconds.
Develop Queen
Summon a queen who crashes to the ground, dealing area-of-effect psychic damage. After a short delay, the queen releases cells that move in straight lines. These cells deal additional psychic damage and stun enemies. Movement (Approach / Alternate Fire): The queen jumps to the selected location, reapplying the same effects.
Base stats: range—30 meters, damage—120, stun duration—1.25, cooldown—210 seconds.
Upgrades:
- 1st: Cooldown reduced by 40 seconds.
- 2nd: Increases slow effect by 15%; kills heroes with health below 200.
- 3rd: Adds 2 turns and increases the cell radius.
The next hero will be added at midnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, Moscow time. Busya was previously added to the game—her base health is 780, she can fire more than three shots per second, and her ultimate ability deals up to 450 damage.
