The Portal Panic medal event has begun in Clash of Clans
The developers of Clash of Clans have announced the start of the Portal Panic medal event, which will run through October 25. The goal of the event is to collect special elixir, which is available to players with a Town Hall level 6 or higher.
Medals earned during the event can be exchanged for rewards. The exchange will remain available even after the event ends, but only for two days—until 11:00 a.m. Moscow Time on October 27.
Event rewards that can be purchased with medals
- Epic gear: for the Barbarian King, Archer Queen, Grand Guardian, Royal Champion, and Minion Prince.
- Decorations, including the Coin Collector and Portal Staff.
- Magical items: books, runes, an obstacle shovel, and wall rings.
- Potions for Builder, Power, Research, Pets, Resources, and the Watchtower.
- Star, Shining, and Glittering Ore.
- Elixir, including Dark Elixir, and gold.
Epic gear for the Minion Prince
Epic gear for the Minion Prince, who can recall troops and heroes within the portal’s radius, after which they return partially healed and temporarily sped up. If he takes fatal damage, the Prince opens a portal and avoids death.
Upgrading the equipment increases the portal’s radius, capacity, healing amount, and the duration of the speed boost.
From 11:00 a.m. on October 20 until the end of the event, players with a Town Hall level 9 or higher will receive the maximum boost.
Clash-O-Ween Limited-Time Troops
The Totem Thrower, Lavaloon, Witch Golem, Royal Ghost, and Giant Skeleton will be available in the game. They unlock as the event progresses.
Previously, the developers made balance changes affecting certain heroes and spells. For example, the Spirit Empress’s damage was increased in both forms, while her freeze effect was nerfed—its duration was reduced by 0.5 seconds.
