Details have been announced for the 1win Streamers League #3, featuring a $60,000 prize pool
The organizers have shared details about the 1win Streamers League #3—the media tournament will take place in mid-October, with a prize pool of $60,000.
In the group stage, participants will be divided into two groups of four, with best-of-three series. At this stage, two teams will be eliminated—one from each group. The remaining teams will advance to the playoffs, which will feature a two-tier bracket and the same match format, with the exception of the grand final, which will be a best-of-three series.
In addition, a modified version of Captains Mode will be used during the competition—on the first map, each team will have a hero that the opponent cannot ban or select themselves. This mechanic will no longer apply on subsequent maps.
So far, the teams led by Oleg “Stray” Bocharov, Roman “zxcursed” Tarasov, Yulia “by_Owl” Ivleva, and Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin have been announced. Four more rosters remain undisclosed.
The champion of the previous tournament in the series was Daniil “LenS” Kaliberda’s team. In the final series, his team defeated the roster featuring by_Owl with a score of 3:1. The event concluded in the first half of August and was held online.
