Astralis and MIBR have been eliminated from the IEM Cologne Major 2026

Astralis and MIBR were outplayed by their opponents in the second stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 and have been eliminated from the event.
Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen’s team faced off against paiN Gaming and lost the first map, Nuke, by a close score of 11-13, before falling 4-13 on Overpass.
In a parallel match, MIBR faced off against B8 Esports. The Ukrainian squad suffered a defeat on the first map, Mirage, with a score of 7-13, but managed to pull ahead on Nuke, winning 13-10. The decisive map, Ancient, went to B8 with a score of 13-8.
Thus, Astralis and MIBR exited the IEM Cologne Major 2026, being eliminated in the second stage of the tournament.
Stage 2 of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 began on June 6 and will run through June 9 in Cologne. A total of 32 teams are participating in the tournament, competing for a prize pool of $1.25 million. The event is divided into four stages: Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, and the playoffs.
