Astralis has advanced to the playoffs of the Esports World Cup 2026 in CS2

Astralis defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas during the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in CS2.

The match began on Nuke, where Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen’s team managed to take an early lead in the series with a score of 13-3. On the next map, Inferno, Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to bounce back with a 13–10 victory. On the decisive map, Cache, the Danish club once again proved stronger than their opponents (13–7).

As a result, Astralis advanced to the playoffs of the 2026 Esports World Cup, while Ninjas in Pyjamas finished the tournament in 17th–24th place.

The Esports World Cup 2026 for Counter-Strike 2 is taking place in France from August 12 to 23. A total of 32 teams are participating in the tournament, and today they will determine the 16 teams advancing to the playoffs. The prize pool for the LAN championship is $2,000,000.
