B8 Esports and FaZe Clan won their first matches at the 2026 Esports World Cup.

In the first match, B8 Esports defeated PARIVISION on Cache with a score of 13-11. In a parallel match, FaZe Clan proved stronger than BetBoom Team on Nuke—also 13-11.

As a result, B8 Esports and FaZe Clan will play tomorrow for a spot in the Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs, while PARIVISION and BetBoom Team have been relegated to the lower brackets of their respective groups.

The Esports World Cup 2026 for Counter-Strike 2 is taking place from August 12 to 23 in Paris, France. Thirty-two teams are competing in the tournament to determine the 16 playoff participants. The tournament’s prize pool is $2,000,000.
