Legacy and Team Falcons won their first matches at the Esports World Cup 2026 for CS2

Legacy and Team Falcons secured victories in their debut matches at the 2026 Esports World Cup.

In the first match, Legacy defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas 13-5. In a parallel match, Team Falcons faced off against K27. Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov’s team proved stronger than their opponents on Dust2, winning 13–6.

As a result, Legacy and Team Falcons will face off tomorrow for a spot in the Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs, while Ninjas in Pyjamas and K27 will play a match to determine who is eliminated from the tournament.

The Esports World Cup 2026 for Counter-Strike 2 is taking place from August 12 to 23 in Paris. The tournament features 32 teams, which will compete across two stages to determine the champion. The prize pool for the LAN event is $2,000,000.
