B8 Esports reveals reasons for skipping BLAST Bounty Summer 2026

Representatives from B8 Esports posted on the organization’s X page, explaining why its Counter-Strike 2 roster will be skipping BLAST Bounty Summer 2026.
We’d like to address questions regarding our decision to skip the upcoming BLAST Bounty.
Instead of that tournament, we’ll be competing in the XSE Pro League 2026. After the Chinese event concludes, our team will get a short break before the Esports World Cup.
Due to a very tight schedule, the guys didn’t have a chance to fully rest after the Major, so we decided to give them a break during this time.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 will take place from July 21 to August 2. The tournament will be divided into two stages—an online stage and a playoff in Malta. Thirty-two teams will participate in the event, splitting a $1,150,000 prize pool.
