BC.Game Esports CEO: “We tried to buy the core of FaZe Clan”

Ali “akofocus” Mohanned, CEO of BC.Game Esports, revealed during a stream on his Twitch channel which teams the organization was in talks with while putting together its Counter-Strike 2 roster.
On negotiations with organizations
Let me put it this way: we reached out to Team Spirit—they weren’t interested. We reached out to Natus Vincere—if I’m not mistaken, they weren’t interested either. We talked to Legacy—they were interested, but in the end, we didn’t reach an agreement. We didn’t talk to MOUZ, or BetBoom Team, or Aurora Gaming, or G2 Esports, or FUT Esports. Oh, right, FUT—that was the Natus Vincere academy, remember? We were in touch, but the players had already been sold. So when people asked about them, we couldn’t sign them because they’d already been sold. The MongolZ—no, PARIVISION—no, MIBR—no, B8 Esports—no. GamerLegion—yes, we talked to them, but we couldn’t reach a suitable agreement.
On the attempt to acquire FaZe Clan’s core
Okay, let me tell you this—it’s actually a leak. We tried to buy FaZe Clan’s core roster. I discussed it with my partner and all that, but we were told “no.” Then I reached out to a few other people, and they said “yes”—but only if we bought their entire esports division, meaning everything.
On the negotiations regarding FL4MUS
We talked with FL4MUS, but we didn’t reach an agreement—that’s true. We were very interested in them, but the terms didn’t make sense. That’s all. The terms just didn’t make sense, and it wasn’t about FL4MUS itself.
Earlier, BC.Game Esports finalized its Counter-Strike 2 roster by signing Mongolian rifler Ayush “mzinho” Batbold. Prior to that, Emil “Magisk” Reif also joined the team and became its new captain.
