biguzera: “To be honest, we’re playing some crappy Counter-Strike.”

paiN Gaming captain Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt, in an interview on Stake Ranked Episode 3, commented on the team’s elimination from the tournament, discussed the reasons behind their poor results in recent months, and addressed the fans.
On the loss to 3DMAX
We didn’t play our game. And not just now. To be honest, we haven’t been playing good Counter-Strike at all for the past few months. To be blunt, we’re playing terrible Counter-Strike. We need to fix this. Now we’ll have a few days at boot camp to try to solve these problems.
On the team’s main problem
We’re constantly trying to rely on individual plays. We need to play as a team. And I think that right now… Not just right now, but at this level of Counter-Strike in general, it’s extremely important. It’s practically impossible to consistently achieve good results if you’re always just playing individually. We need to act more as a team. We need to be a more cohesive team in everything: communication, strategies, plays—every aspect of the game. But we’re not doing that, and we’re paying the price for it.
About the Fans
I want to thank everyone for their support. Of course, the result turned out to be nothing like what we expected. But I want to say that we’re giving it our all—we’re really trying our best. The last few months have been very tough, but I’m absolutely certain that sooner or later we’ll be able to turn things around and start showing much better results. Because I believe that’s exactly what Brazil deserves.
