BIT on 9z Team: “We’re now on the right track to establish ourselves among the best.”

In an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026, 9z Team coach Bruno “BIT” Lima spoke ahead of the match against FURIA and reflected on playing at the LANXESS Arena and his team’s potential.
On the match against FURIA
It’s great to face FURIA—and FalleN in particular—after so many years. Today we’re rivals—I’m playing for my team, and FalleN is representing all of Brazil. There might even be some of my fellow Brazilians in the audience cheering for our team. We’ll do our best to beat FURIA.
On playing at the LANXESS Arena
I’m really looking forward to the match at the arena. FalleN and I started playing together back in 2008. Back then, conditions weren’t like this. We played in small LAN tournaments in Brazil with prize pools of just a few hundred dollars. Now our teams are competing in huge arenas. I’m really glad to be here.
About 9z Team
I think we’re on the right track to establish ourselves among the best. Performing consistently at the Tier 1 level means improving in every aspect. My team is strong both in terms of gameplay and mental toughness. We’re not afraid to take on the strongest teams.
