bobeksde on Alliance: “There’s more structure here compared to what I had at EYEBALLERS.”

Alliance rifler Jonathan “bobeksde” Persson, in an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, talked about how he’s adjusting to his new team, assessed the squad’s performance in recent tournaments, and explained whether he had to change his playstyle after the move.
On the team’s recent results
I’m starting to feel truly comfortable on the team now. We’ve already played two tournaments. The last one was in China, where we made it to the semifinals. I think, overall, it was a successful tournament. I was satisfied.
On adapting to Alliance
Overall, the transition to the team was very smooth. I already knew everyone before that. We were all friends. So in that regard, everything went smoothly. Of course, I had to adapt a bit and figure out how they like to play CS. But overall, I think everything went pretty smoothly.
On whether I had to change my playing style
Actually, I didn’t change anything about my gameplay at all. Of course, there’s more structure here compared to what I had at EYEBALLERS. But overall, I play the same way I did at EYEBALLERS—it’s just that a few new elements have been added. I think the team has adapted very well to me, too.
Earlier, Alliance lost to Wildcard in their debut match at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 with a score of 0–2 on maps. As a result, Jonathan “bobeksde” Persson’s team finished the tournament in 17th–32nd place.
