Counter-Strike 2 Update from July 29, 2026: New Ranked Series IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stickers
On the night of July 29, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2, which introduced new Ranked Series IEM Cologne Major 2026 stickers, updated several community-created maps, and fixed a number of bugs related to the game and the VACnet system.

IEM Cologne Major 2026
- Ranked Series stickers are now available for purchase. 50% of the proceeds from sales will go to players, teams, and the tournament organizer.
- Items from the IEM Cologne Major 2026 store will be available for purchase until September 29.
Map Scripting
- Fixed a bug that prevented scripts from loading in debug mode until a manual recompile was performed.
Maps
- Boulder, Fachwerk, and Shelter have been updated to the latest versions from the Community Workshop.
Misc
- Fixed a bug that prevented some users from earning Collection Catalog XP for The Dead Hand Collection.
- Fixed a bug that allowed attackers to bypass VACnet processing.
The previous Counter-Strike 2 update was released on July 21—at that time, the developers added new interactions between C4 explosions and smoke and fire, updated several Community Workshop maps, and made changes to the Steam China version of the game.
