CS2 saw two waves of bans—more than 3,000 accounts were banned in a single day.

Valve carried out two new waves of account bans in Counter-Strike 2. This information was shared by the csstats.gg website.

According to the service’s data, a total of 3,412 bans were issued on July 25. On Saturday, July 26, another 598 accounts were banned. The specific reasons were not disclosed, but it’s worth noting that over the past month, this number has ranged from 400 to 800 per day.

The previous wave of bans took place on June 20 of this year and coincided with the game’s 27th anniversary. At that time, Valve addressed the fans and thanked them for their loyalty to Counter-Strike. Earlier, on March 26, 17,350 VAC bans were also issued.
