PARIVISION coach Dastan “dastan” Akbaev, in an interview at the 2026 CS2 Esports World Cup, summed up the tournament, discussed mistakes made in the match against MOUZ, and shared the team’s future plans.
On the attack side, I think we even had a 5-on-4 advantage at the end, and we simply didn’t need to rush; we could have closed out the round late because two of their players were already down to half health. But we lost that game on Dust2. There were three rounds with major mistakes, plus we lost the pistol round and the eco round. Then we lost 5v3, and there were too many mistakes on Dust2. But on Inferno, I think three rounds aren’t enough. Maybe if there had been five or four, it would have been better. But overall, it’s a pretty good result. MOUZ is a strong team right now, and we’ll have more invites this season.
I understand that FL1T needs a little more time. He hasn’t played for half a year, and slaxejezzz is still young. He doesn’t even have any experience playing on Inferno. And we need some time to play better. And today, MOUZ was better.
We worked a lot on Cache. We worked a lot on other maps, too. And today, we didn’t show that. But overall, we came here. This is our first tournament. We feel good. The atmosphere is nice. We have good prospects. And our goal is the Major. That’s it. It’s a good tournament. It feels good. And every opponent here was very strong. There were no easy opponents.
Earlier, PARIVISION lost to MOUZ 0–2 in the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2. As a result, Dastan “dastan” Akbaev’s team finished the championship in 17th–24th place and received $20,000 in prize money.
