PARIVISION coach Dastan “dastan” Akbaev posted on his personal Telegram channel, reacting to his team’s loss in the 1win Private Club #2 Grand Final.
Hi everyone! So, yesterday was the final day of [1win Private Club #2]. I take full responsibility for yesterday’s result—I may have gotten a little carried away at times, and at other times I should have kept my cool and remained calm until the very end, continuing to support [the players] the way I did throughout the entire tournament. Maybe the fact that we qualified for a major had some [impact]; something inside me just kind of deflated. The whole month was very stressful, and I let my emotions get the better of me at times, but we’ve talked through all these moments with the team—everything is clear. I hope we’ll continue to delight fans with our play.
As for me, I’m flying home. I’ve been at boot camp for two years. Well, yes, I did come back for short visits here and there… I’ll see my family and loved ones and try to recharge. I love you all—big hugs. Thanks for the support. Just like the players, I definitely need to get better, keep growing, and always stay strong.
Yesterday, PARIVISION lost to The MongolZ in the grand final of 1win Private Club #2 with a map score of 0:3 (6:13 on Ancient, 11:13 on Mirage, and 4:13 on Dust2). The team finished in 2nd place at the tournament and earned $17,500.
