PARIVISION coach Dastan “dastan” Akbaev shared his expectations for the match against 100 Thieves at the 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2. On the club’s Telegram channel, he noted the similarities between the teams’ rosters and discussed their preparations for the opponent.

They’re somewhat similar to us. They have three experienced players and two young ones, while we have three young players and two experienced ones. We’ve played practice matches against them. They’re a cool, up-and-coming team that also wants to qualify for Tier 1 events. In that sense, we’re similar to them.

As for whether we’ll focus on our own game or theirs, I think we need to strike a balance. We definitely need to know what they’re doing and what’s going on. But at the same time, we probably won’t go for a strong anti-strategy. Whatever we see that’s relatively easy to implement in terms of team coordination, we’ll put into practice.
