Team Spirit rifler Danil “donk” Kryshkovets spoke about the team’s current form and mental preparation in an interview at BLAST Open Porto 2026.
We’ve gotten into shape thanks to official matches. We feel like we’re in good form and that we’re playing well together as a team. And yes, there’s also the psychological boost we got after beating Team Vitality in the CS2 Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs and winning the tournament. That gave us a lot of confidence, and I think we’ve started to put ourselves in a great position.
I’d say I can be aggressive, I can get angry, but as soon as a round starts, I don’t get angry at all—I just play the round. And as a team, I think we’ve become calmer and more confident now. I think confidence is the key to staying calm, and as we become more confident, we become calmer.
This works with everyone on our team. If someone has four kills and we know it, they don’t try to steal the last kill because, you know, we just… They just try to be nicer to each other. Everyone likes to get aces, so we just try to give them up.
Earlier, Team Spirit defeated FURIA in a seeding match for the BLAST Open Porto 2026 with a 2-0 map score. As a result, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets’ team will begin its playoff run directly in the semifinals.
