FACEIT will temporarily add a general voice chat between teams
Representatives of the FACEIT platform on social media platform X announced the temporary return of shared voice chat between teams when sides switch.
The vote on bringing back cross-team voice chat during the halftime break has concluded. Of the 106,647 votes cast, 79% were in favor of the idea.
Cross-team voice chat will return to FACEIT as part of a week-long test at the start of Season 9. It will open during the halftime break and close after sides are switched.
The test will run from August 5 to 12.
Earlier, it was announced that Vertigo will be added to the Season 9 map pool on FACEIT. This map received the most votes, beating Train by nearly 32,700. As a result, it will become available on August 5 as an optional pick.
