The players and coach of FaZe Clan’s CS2 roster commented on their social media accounts on their loss to Team Spirit in the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 semifinals.
FaZe Clan sniper Jason “JBOEN” Bo Nielsen said he didn’t play well in the event’s semifinals:
We lost to Team Spirit 1-2.
I failed again in the semifinals... I don’t even know what to say.
See you at EWC.

For his part, team captain Russell “Twistzz” Van Dalken noted that such a close match demonstrated FaZe Clan’s improved form:
No, it was so close...
I’m glad we were just a few rounds short of beating a team like Team Spirit, even though we didn’t play at 100% like we did yesterday. That’s an encouraging sign for us. We’ll keep working and getting stronger.
GG, Spirit!
FaZe Clan coach Niklas “enkayJ” Krumhorn said he views this result positively:
We finished in 3rd–4th place at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 after a disappointing loss to Team Spirit. Despite that, I’m generally satisfied with the result.
Earlier, Team Spirit defeated FaZe Clan in the semifinals of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026. The “Dragons” closed out the first map, Dust2, 13–6, but lost on Cache 9–13. The decisive map, Anubis, went to Boris “magixx” Vorobyov’s team—13–11. As a result, FaZe Clan finished the event in 3rd–4th place, while the Russian team will face MOUZ in the final.
