BetBoom Team coach Artem “Fierce” Ivanov explained the team’s elimination from the 2026 Esports World Cup in Counter-Strike 2 on the club’s Telegram channel.

[Our tournament ended today. Why did this happen? What factors contributed to this?] Obviously, it’s the start of the season; obviously, we’re not in top form. We’re not playing with the right mindset; we lack dynamic play, communication, and individual skill. Sometimes our aim falters; other times we get lost, fall silent, and can barely catch our breath. We really didn’t have that much time. This is both an excuse and not an excuse. We barely remembered how to even use the keyboard and mouse after our break. Then we literally spent a couple of days on the training platform, and here we are. Obviously, that wasn’t enough for us.
