flashie commented on the scheduling conflict within the Team Liquid CS2 roster

Team Liquid coach Viktor “flashie” Tamás Béa posted on his personal X page, sharing his thoughts on the scheduling conflict involving his team’s tournaments.

We knew there might be a scheduling overlap between two tournaments, but participating in BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 was our only chance to try to secure invites starting August 3.

Most likely, we’ll face the team ranked first or second in the championship standings. Accordingly, our match will take place on July 30. If we advance to the semifinals, we’ll withdraw from Stake Pulse Beat I. Of course, this decision will result in the loss of some VRS points. However, this will only affect our September ranking, since the event ends on August 3, after the invitations have been sent out. Plus, we’ll earn points for winning the first round of the playoffs.

In the event of an early exit from BLAST Bounty, our team will fly to Stockholm the very next day to be ready for the match on August 1.

Earlier, Team Liquid defeated G2 Esports in the second round of the online stage of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 with a 2-0 map score (13-6 on Anubis and 13-5 on Mirage), thereby advancing to the LAN stage of the championship.
