FURIA advanced to the finals of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, while Aurora Gaming was eliminated from the tournament
FURIA defeated Aurora Gaming in the semifinals of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 and advanced to the championship grand final.
FURIA closed out their Dust2 pick with a 13-9 score, then crushed the Turkish team on Nuke, 13-4.
As a result, FURIA has advanced to the event’s grand final, where they will face the winner of the Team Spirit vs. Team Falcons match, while Aurora Gaming exited the IEM Cologne Major 2026 in 3rd–4th place, earning $80,000.

The IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to 21 in Cologne, Germany. A total of 32 teams are participating in the tournament. Following three group stages, the eight playoff participants have been determined. The Major’s prize pool is $1,250,000.
