FURIA won its match and advanced to the playoffs of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Counter-Strike 2, while 3DMAX was eliminated from the tournament.

FURIA faced off against 9z Team. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s squad took Dust2 with a score of 13-6, but then lost on Mirage (13-16). The decisive map, Nuke, went to FURIA with a score of 13–6. Meanwhile, magic faced off against 3DMAX, winning Dust2 13–6 and Ancient 13–7.

Thus, FURIA advanced to the playoffs of the 2026 Esports World Cup in CS2, 9z Team dropped to the lower bracket, magic will have to play one more elimination match, and 3DMAX exited the tournament in 25th–32nd place.

The 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2 is taking place in Paris from August 12 to 23. The main matches of the LAN tournament are being played at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, while the decisive matches will take place at the Accor Arena. Thirty-two teams are competing in the event for a $2,000,000 prize pool.
