FURIA advanced to the semifinals of the Esports World Cup 2026 CS2 tournament, while G2 Esports was eliminated from the tournament.

FURIA defeated G2 Esports in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup.

The “Panthers” defeated the “Samurai” 13-3 on the first map, Ancient, but then lost 3-13 on Anubis. On the decisive map, Dust2, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s team once again proved stronger than their opponents, winning 13–4.

As a result, FURIA advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup, while G2 Esports finished the tournament in 5th–8th place.

The Esports World Cup 2026 for Counter-Strike 2 is taking place from August 12 to 23 in France. The LAN event features 32 teams, which will split a $2,000,000 prize pool and 3,350 EWC Club Championship points.
