FURIA advanced to the semifinals of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, while 9z Team was eliminated from the tournament
FURIA defeated 9z Team in the quarterfinals of the IEM Cologne Major 2026.
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s team lost the first map, Dust2, 8–13, but then won the next two maps, Mirage and Overpass, 13–9 and 13–6, respectively.
As a result, FURIA advanced to the semifinals of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, while 9z Team finished in 5th–8th place, earning $45,000 in prize money.
The IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to 21 in Germany. Thirty-two teams are participating in the tournament, eight of which have secured spots in the playoffs. The Major’s total prize pool is $1,250,000.
