FURIA co-founder Jaime Padua announced on social media that he has decided to step down as the club’s head after nine years.
After nine years, I have decided to step down from my role as head of FURIA, though I remain a co-owner of the organization.
Today, I’m celebrating a personal victory with all of you. That’s why I’m writing this with a sense of calm and great pride in having helped FURIA reach its current level. This was my decision, one I carefully considered and made at the right time.
Now it’s time to begin a new chapter in my life.
FURIA was founded by Jaime Padua, Andre Akkari, and Christian Gedes in 2017. Initially, the club fielded only a Counter-Strike roster, but it has since expanded to include more than ten esports disciplines.
