FUT Esports and G2 Esports proved too strong for their opponents and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Counter-Strike 2.
G2 Esports faced Astralis, defeating them 2-1 in maps: 6-13 on Ancient, 13-6 on Dust2, and 13-7 on Inferno.
In a parallel match, FUT Esports defeated magic, losing 9–13 on Ancient but winning on Anubis (13–7) and Mirage (13–8).
As a result, FUT Esports and G2 Esports advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2.

The playoffs of the 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2 are taking place in Paris from August 19 to 23. Through August 22, matches will be held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, and the tournament’s final matches on August 23 will take place at the Accor Arena.
