Astralis performance coach Ursula “Xirreth” Klimczak explained in an interview at the Esports World Cup 2026 why she left Natus Vincere and shared details about her work with the players.
I realized it was time for a change; I had already spent three years at Natus Vincere. It’s a wonderful organization, but it’s very demanding, so I didn’t have enough time left to focus on new ideas and my own growth. When Astralis reached out to me, I noticed a different approach—one that allows me to see the organization’s long-term plans and its growth.
My main goal is to build an esports culture, and I have all the tools I need to do so.
The most important thing is to live and breathe the game and believe that they’re truly capable of achieving something. These players are highly skilled and hungry for victory, but I think the end of the previous season slowed their progress and brought on some negative thoughts. I’m working with a new coach, and I believe the players have absolutely everything they need to compete against the best.
In July of this year, Ursula “Xirreth” Klimchak ended her collaboration with Natus Vincere. Subsequently, the performance coach joined the Astralis coaching staff alongside Filip “NEO” Kubski, who at the time took on the role of head coach for the Counter-Strike 2 roster.
