FUT Esports and JijieHao won their debut matches at the 2026 Esports World Cup for CS2
FUT Esports and JijieHao secured victories in their opening group stage matches at the 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2.
The first match between FUT Esports and TYLOO took place on Nuke, with Aulon “Krabeni” Fazli’s team emerging victorious (13-10). In a parallel match on Mirage, Team Spirit faced off against JijieHao, with the Chinese club ultimately proving stronger than their opponents, securing a 13-10 victory.
As a result, FUT Esports and JijieHao advanced to the semifinals of Group A’s upper bracket, while TYLOO and Team Spirit dropped to the first round of the lower bracket.
The 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2 is being held from August 12 to 23 in Paris. The tournament features 32 teams, comprising those directly invited and those that advanced through qualifiers. The tournament’s total prize pool is $2,000,000.
