Results of the first day of the 2026 Esports World Cup playoffs
- G2 Esports 2–1 Astralis;
- FUT Esports 2:1 magic;
- FURIA 2:1 Aurora Gaming;
- MOUZ 2–1 GamerLegion.
Following these matches, G2 Esports, FUT Esports, FURIA, and MOUZ advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup in CS2, while Astralis, magic, Aurora Gaming, and GamerLegion were eliminated from the tournament.

- 4:55 p.m. — B8 Esports vs. Team Spirit;
- 7:50 p.m. — G2 Esports vs. FURIA.
The Esports World Cup 2026 Counter-Strike 2 playoffs are taking place August 19–23 in Paris, France. Matches through the final day of competition will be held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with subsequent matches taking place at the Accor Arena.
