HooXi spoke out after Astralis’ elimination from the IEM Cologne Major 2026
Astralis CS2 captain Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen commented on his team’s elimination from the IEM Cologne Major 2026 on his personal page on social media platform X.
A humiliating exit. My only goal for the past six months was simply to perform a little better from tournament to tournament, so that we could honestly look at ourselves in the mirror and say we gave it our all. Unfortunately, things turned out differently this time. See you after the break.

Yesterday, Astralis lost to paiN Gaming in the second stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 with a score of 0-2 in a best-of-3 series. Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen’s team finished in 20th–22nd place at the tournament and earned $10,000 in prize money.
