HooXi: “We’ve been having major problems on the attack lately.”

Astralis captain Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen spoke in an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 about the team’s struggles and how they’re handling the challenges.
On Astralis’s struggles
We’ve had major problems on offense lately; that’s all sorted out now, but defense has become more difficult. We’ll work on it and figure out what’s wrong. I’m not 100% sure why this happened.
On the team’s form
We’ve discussed our playstyle a lot, and I think things are getting better now. We’re getting back into form, and our defense largely depends on self-confidence—but maybe we’re still lacking a bit there, even though we’re already doing better. I hope we’ll perform well at the next tournament.
On the team’s morale
I think not only I, but also the rest of the team, feel that we’re doing better now. This gives us much more freedom to make the right decisions.
Earlier, Astralis lost to MOUZ in the semifinals of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026. Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen’s team defeated their opponent 13–6 on Ancient but lost 9–13 on Mirage. The decisive Dust2 map went to the German club—13–9. As a result, Astralis finished the tournament in 3rd–4th place.
