“It seems like Valve is really messing with us”: Pro players react to Cache’s return to the map pool

Professional players took to social media to react to Valve’s decision to replace Overpass with Cache in the CS2 competitive map pool.
G2 Esports rifler Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko expressed his dissatisfaction that Overpass had recently been added to the tournament map pool but is now being removed:
It’s crazy to bring a map back and then remove it so quickly. It’s ridiculous.
Team Vitality captain Dan “apEX” Madeskler also spoke negatively about the map pool change:
It seems like Valve is really messing with us.
MOUZ coach Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen pointed out that Train was also recently removed from the map pool:
First they took Train away from us, now it’s Overpass. We’ve got some serious business to settle with you, Counter-Strike.
FURIA captain Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo disagreed that Cache should have been brought back:
Bad choice.
Former Gentle Mates coach Eloy “deLonge” Suárez took the news in stride:
I definitely didn’t expect to see Overpass in my predictions. It’s cool that Valve rotates maps in the pool so quickly.
Ana “ANa” Dumbravă from Imperial Female had this to say:
First they removed Overpass, then brought it back, and now they’ve dropped it again. Well, here we go—the season of Anubis, Cache, Dust2, and Mirage is starting. Oh dear, oh dear...
For his part, former Team Spirit captain Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov said he had expected Cache to return:

I’ve got this sixth sense—
they dropped Cache with Yarik just in time!
Welcome back, legendary map! <...>
BetBoom Team sniper Alexander “zorte” Zagodyrenko wrote:
Whoa.
They removed the cover on the overpass at Sims Gucci.
Bebop rifler Yuri “faydett” Martirosov is confident that the map changes will specifically help Team Falcons:
-Overpass = an attempt to help Team Falcons continue their dominance. What do you think?
David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan from HOTU said the developers should have removed Ancient or Anubis:
There are plenty of maps they could remove, yet they’re removing Overpass instead of *** [terrible] Ancient or Anubis
Professional player Andrei “Jerry” Mekhryakov noted that FURIA and Team Vitality will suffer the most from not being able to pick Overpass:
Can you even imagine *** [face] Apex and Fallen after this map rotation?
Fallen abused Overpass and had an insane win rate there—a strong advantage in any best-of-3 series!
Apex was literally feeding on this map, M80, for a whole year!!!! He leveled it up—made it to the Major—lost a best-of-3 to the Falcons, who don’t play it, and they removed it from the pool.
What are the odds that the map rotation is done via Random.org?)
Well, they’re just removing Mirage from this roulette ))
On the other hand, we’ll soon see Cache from all these teams.
Earlier, Valve announced changes to the Counter-Strike 2 competitive map pool. Overpass will be removed and replaced by Cache. The update will take effect on July 6 with the start of the fifth Premier season.
