FUT Esports captain Aulon “Krabeni” Fazlia, in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026, summed up the match against BetBoom Team, discussed the team’s struggles during the game, and shared his thoughts on the roster’s future following the tournament.

On the loss to BetBoom Team

We just didn’t show up on the first map. I think on the second one, too. They shot way better than us. I think today was the first time in all my time on this team that I felt there was a lot of pressure on us. I think everyone was feeling the pressure. We couldn’t make any plays. We were just waiting for them to, roughly speaking, tear us apart.

On the key moments of the match

After winning the pistol round, we had some hope. But it quickly vanished after we lost the next one. Also, on Mirage, I think we lost two anti-force rounds, which really hurt our economy. After we lost that anti-force round and couldn’t win the third round, it was very hard to get back into the game.

On the team’s future after the Major

We’ll have a few weeks off now—two or three weeks. I don’t know what will happen next with the team. I’m not sure. I don’t know. It’s impossible to say who will stay. Maybe someone will stay. Maybe someone will leave. I don’t know. There’s no information. I don’t know anything. But, of course, we’ll hope for the best after this season. Maybe we had a tough preparation before coming here. Both the players and the coach might have expected something similar to how we performed now. Maybe that was the minimum we were supposed to achieve. But personally, for me as a player, that was the minimum, and, of course, I’m not happy with this result.

On playing in the first Major

For four of us, this was our first Major as players, and for the coach as well. Of course, it was an amazing tournament. I think we had a lot of fun. But I feel like there will be less pressure at the next tournaments because the team experienced maximum pressure here.
