Rifler Legacy’s Bruno “latto” Rebelatto shared his thoughts in an interview at ESL Pro League Season 24 following the victory over ShindeN and discussed how the absence of Andrei “arT” Piovesan is affecting the team’s dynamics.
I think we prepared really well for this match and just stuck to the plan. I can say that Mirage was a tense game. We finished the first half 4-8, and then started our comeback. We managed to win a crucial round at 10–11 and seize the initiative. To be honest, ShindeN played very cohesively and methodically. It’s tough to play against that team.
I think our preparation hasn’t changed, because our stand-in, bobz, is still fulfilling the role of analyst and doing a lot of work alongside the coach. However, a lot has changed on the server—arT’s absence is having a huge impact on our gameplay. Now we need to take much more initiative and help bobz.
Legacy defeated ShindeN 2-0 (13-8 on Nuke and 13-11 on Mirage) in the second round of the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 24. Tomorrow, the Brazilians will play a match to advance to the 2:1 bracket.
