Legacy has advanced to the Esports World Cup 2026 CS2 playoffs

Legacy defeated MIBR during the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup for CS2.

The match began on Nuke, where Andrei “arT” Piovessan’s team managed to take the lead in the series with a score of 13–11. On the decisive map, Inferno, the Brazilian club once again proved stronger than their opponents (13–8).

As a result, Legacy advanced to the playoffs of the 2026 Esports World Cup for CS2, while MIBR finished the tournament in 17th–24th place.

The 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2 is taking place in Paris from August 12 to 23. A total of 32 teams are participating in the tournament, and 16 playoff contenders have already been determined today. The prize pool for the LAN championship is $2,000,000.
