FACEIT’s administration has released data on bans for toxicity during the ninth competitive season. A post about this appeared on the platform’s X page.
In Season 9, we issued an average of 447 bans per day for toxic behavior. Players with an Elo rating above 2,000 are banned 3.6 times more often than Level 1 users. Accordingly, the higher the skill level, the more frequently players commit violations.
Under FACEIT’s new policy, mild insults during matches are permitted. However, abuse of this allowance will be penalized regardless of skill level.
Earlier, FACEIT reported interim results from its anti-cheat module, Human Input Detection—with its help, the platform’s administration is blocking 70% more violators than last season.
