Riot Games has unveiled the VALORANT Champions Tour 2027—more than 50 tournaments and competitions across 15 cities
Riot Games has announced changes to the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) for 2027. The extended regional league stages will be replaced by tournaments, and teams from open qualifiers will be able to compete for a spot in the Masters and Champions.
The season will combine Open Qualifiers, Kickoffs, Cups, Masters, and Champions—for a total of more than 50 tournaments. Partner teams will retain an important role in the system, but after the Kickoff, advancement will depend on results. Guaranteed prize pools are provided for teams that advance through the open qualifiers.
VALORANT Champions Tour 2027 Schedule
- January 14–February 7: Kickoff—São Paulo, Berlin, Bangkok, and Hangzhou.
- February 20–March 3: Masters—Seoul.
- April 29–May 23: Cups—Mexico City, Warsaw, Manila, and Wuhan.
- June 5–20: Masters — Valencia.
- August 5–29: Cups — Rio de Janeiro, Istanbul, Tokyo, and Shanghai.
- September 6–October 10: Champions and Game Changers Championship—Austin.
The first open qualifiers will begin as early as November 2026: teams will compete for spots in the Kickoff. Additional qualifiers for the Cups will take place throughout the season. The season will conclude with the Champions, which will be held after the Game Changers Championship.
There are two matches remaining in the 2026 Champions in Shanghai. LOUD has already advanced to the grand final, where they will face the winner of the Team Vitality vs. 100 Thieves match on October 18. The lower bracket final between them will take place on October 17.
