On October 15, the Halloween event “Doktor’s Curse” began in Rainbow Six Siege and will run through November 2. Players can look forward to “Hide and Seek” in the Doctor’s lab, a free event bundle, a themed collection, and rewards for watching streams on Twitch.
Doktor’s Curse brings back the “Hide and Seek” mode, in which players are divided into hunters and monsters. The former must track down and eliminate their opponents, while the latter must hide from their pursuers and survive until time runs out. Both sides use special abilities created specifically for the event.
Matches take place on the “Doctor’s Lab” map—a significantly reworked version of “The Club.” Hidden paths and secluded spots will help the monsters evade pursuit, while the hunters will have to carefully scout their surroundings to track down their prey.
During the event, you can claim one free pack containing an exclusive cosmetic item. Additional rewards are available for completing challenges and participating in the event.
The “Doktor’s Curse” collection features 33 exclusive cosmetic items. Among them are new outfits for Hibana, Muta, and Grim, as well as other items inspired by monsters, hunters, and the dark secrets of the doctor’s lab.
The Selenic Trail commemorative gift for the M590A1 shotgun—inspired by the legendary werewolf hunter—is available for purchase separately. Buyers will also receive five event packs with their purchase.
Additional rewards can be earned by watching Rainbow Six Siege streams on Twitch. To do this, you’ll need to link your accounts, watch streams participating in the Twitch Drops program, and claim your earned rewards.
Previously, Rainbow Six Siege hosted the Wasteland Circuit event, dedicated to reconnaissance drone races. Players competed on special tracks featuring obstacles and short routes, completed challenges, and earned themed rewards.
