Team Falcons sniper Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov was named MVP of the IEM Cologne Major 2026.

m0NESY’s rating at the end of the tournament was 1.25. This is the Russian player’s seventh MVP award of his career and his first of 2026.

In the grand final of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, Team Falcons defeated FURIA 3–0 in a best-of-five series to claim the tournament title and earn $500,000 in prize money.

The match was played in a best-of-5 format. On the first map, Mirage, Team Falcons confidently pulled ahead, winning 13–8. On the next map, Anubis, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov’s team solidified its lead in the series (13–8). On Inferno, the “Falcons” once again proved stronger than their opponent and sealed the match with a 13–8 victory.

The IEM Cologne Major 2026 took place from June 2 to 21 in Germany. Thirty-two teams participated in the tournament, advancing through three group stages to the playoffs. The event’s prize pool totaled $1,250,000, of which the tournament winner earned 500 thousand.
