Magic advanced to the upper bracket final of Stake Ranked Episode 2, while FaZe Clan dropped to the lower bracket
Magic defeated FaZe Clan 2-1 in the upper bracket semifinals of Stake Ranked Episode 2.
On the first map, Mirage, Russell “Twistzz” van Dalken’s team defeated their opponents 13-4. However, they lost the next map, Dust2 (11-13). On the decisive map, Overpass, the American club once again fell short against their opponent, losing 13-10.
Thus, Magic advanced to the upper bracket final of Stake Ranked Episode 2, while FaZe Clan dropped to the lower bracket.
Stake Ranked Episode 2 is taking place from May 27 to 30 in Barcelona. The event began directly with the playoffs, which are being held under a double-elimination format. A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament, and the total prize pool is $100,000.
