Analyst Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg took to social media platform X to criticize GamerLegion assistant coach Denis “Grashog” Hristov after Janusz “Snax” Pogozhelski was benched.
So many excuses in defense of Snax, and then to join GamerLegion, miss the Major, and send Snax to the bench.
In December 2024, Mauisnake criticized Snax as captain after G2 Esports’ match against 3DMAX, noting that the team had pushed to Site A in exactly the same way three times in a row. Grashog dismissed this criticism at the time, stating that the pushes differed in their grenade loadouts and that G2 Esports had a clear game plan. In December 2025, Snax returned to GamerLegion, and in January 2026, Grashog became the team’s assistant coach.
In response to a user’s comment that GamerLegion had played with substitutes for half the season, Mauisnake added:
They were failing in the online qualifiers even with their starting five.
Alexander “shalfey” Marenov took Snax’s place on GamerLegion. Over the past month and a half, the team—with Pogozhelski on the roster—failed to qualify for IEM Beijing 2026, 1win Private Club #2, and PGL Bucharest 2027.
