Qikert has become the head coach of Team Spirit Academy’s CS2 team, replacing Flash_1

IEM Rio Major 2022 champion Alexey “Qikert” Golubev has become the head coach of Team Spirit Academy’s Counter-Strike 2 team. This was announced on the club’s official Telegram channel.

Qikert replaced Vladislav “Flash_1” Bykov, who moved to Team Spirit Academy White. Golubev is best known for his performances with AVANGAR and Virtus.pro. With the former, he reached the finals of the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, and with the latter—which was then known as Outsiders—he won the IEM Rio Major 2022.

Starting in 2024, Qikert played for PARIVISION and then, on loan, for MIBR. In 2026, he played for 1w Team and Color, which he left in early October. At that time, the player stated that he was primarily considering offers for the captain position.

Earlier today, Team Spirit Academy announced other changes to its coaching staff: Alexey “tokuzo” Karafizi left Team Spirit Academy White. He was replaced by Vladislav “Flash_1” Bykov, who previously worked with Team Spirit Academy Black.
