Dota 2 Update as of October 21, 2026: Fix for Dawnbreaker weapon effects from the Starforge Reformer set
On the night of October 21, Valve released an update for the Dota 2 client that fixed the incorrect display of the Starforge Reformer — Weapon effects.
Changelog
- Changes have been made to the effects file for the Starforge Reformer — Weapon cosmetic item for Dawnbreaker.
- A line regarding the ability to obtain the item upon completion of the event has been added to the files related to team sets.
The developers had previously addressed the weapon effects from this Dawnbreaker set, but players subsequently reported a display bug with the item. Prior to this, Dota 2 had fixed a bug that caused frame rate drops.
