Dota 2 Updates for October 19–20, 2026: Dawnbreaker Effects and the Blocked Players List
Late in the evening on October 19 and overnight on October 20, the Dota 2 developers released two minor updates. The changes affected the effects of the Dawnbreaker weapon, the block list interface, and language settings.
List of Changes
- The glow and beam effects around the Dawnbreaker weapon from the Forger of the Star set have been updated.
- A tooltip has been added to the English localization showing the number of additional slots purchased for the blocklist and the cost of the next slot in shards.
- The layout and design of the player blocklist management window have been updated.
- Changed the settings for saving the interface and voice-over languages.
