FURIA sniper Danil “molodoy” Golubenko spoke in an interview at the 2026 Esports World Cup about Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s final season, preparations for the match against 9z Team, and assessed the team’s current form.
On FalleN’s final season
I think people already know what we wanted to give him. That’s, of course, trophies and a Major victory. It’s not entirely true, but we’ll try.
On the match against 9z Team
We had a tough game at the Major; they played very well. But I think the problem is that we all got off to a bad start at the Major.
On bouncing back from a rough start to the season
I hope we’ll go far, but who knows? Maybe we’ll lose today and lose tomorrow. Who knows? But I hope we win today and make it to the playoffs. We’re facing strong opponents in this tournament because it’s a Tier 1 event. When it comes to online play, it just doesn’t feel the same. You’re not sitting in the same room with your teammates—you’re sitting alone. And you’re just trying to convey your emotions to them online. It’s tough.
On FURIA’s current form
Good question. I still don’t know, but when we played against Wildcard, we played well. We’ll see how we play today.
