FURIA sniper Danil “molodoy” Golubenko suffered an eye injury a few days before the start of the 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2.
On August 9, molodoy posted a photo of his swollen eye on social media. The esports player did not specify the circumstances of the injury. Later, he shared a photo taken on a plane, showing that his eye remains slightly swollen but is fully open.
The 2026 Counter-Strike 2 Esports World Cup will take place in Paris from August 12 to 23. FURIA’s first match of the tournament will be held tomorrow at 9:00 p.m. Moscow time. Danil “molodoy” Golubenko’s team will face off against Wildcard.
