Neityu on playing for FaZe Clan in CS2: “I’m happy to be part of the team”
FaZe Clan rifler Ryan “Neityu” Aubrey spoke in an interview at the Esports World Cup 2026 about settling into the team following his official signing.
On playing for FaZe Clan
It’s been a few months since I joined the team. To be honest, I knew even before that I’d be playing for them, but it took time to finalize the contract, negotiate, and all that. So it took some time, but in the end, I’m happy to be part of the team. I think we’re playing really well—we’re in the top 10 right now. Of course, that’s not the ultimate goal, and I believe we’re on the right track.
On playing for the team as a stand-in
I’ve been part of FaZe Clan for a long time—I’ve been playing here for a while. The transition to a starting role was easy; I didn’t feel any pressure when I officially started playing for the team.
Earlier, FaZe Clan advanced to the playoffs of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Counter-Strike 2. Russell “Twistzz” van Dalken’s team defeated Legacy 2-0—13-6 on Cache and 13-8 on Mirage. After that match, the Brazilian team dropped to the lower bracket.
