NOVAQ won its debut match at the Games of the Future 2026 CS2 tournament

NOVAQ defeated Eternal Fire in its first match at the 2026 Games of the Future in CS2.
The match began on the Ancient map, where Ahmet “Aura” Ozkan’s team managed to defeat their opponents 13-8 and take the lead in the series. On the next map, Dust2, Eternal Fire fell to their rivals, losing 14–16. The final stage was a laser tag match on the Neo Dala map, where NOVAQ once again proved stronger than their opponent, winning 6–2.
As a result, NOVAQ earned 2 points from the match, while Eternal Fire received only 1 point.
Eight teams will compete for a $150,000 prize pool at Games of the Future 2026 for CS2 from August 4 to 8. The competition will begin with the group stage, where the underdogs will be determined and immediately eliminated from the tournament. The remaining teams will advance to the playoffs to determine the winner of the main trophy.
